Mark Bartsch - Pastor - I have been at TMC since 2003; this is my first pastorate after living in Japan for almost 10 years. I have been married to my wife for 18 years, and we have been blessed with two wonderful boys. One thing that always amazes me is that God loves us, I mean really loves us, and wants to be in relationship with us through his son Jesus Christ. As I have grown in my relationship with God I see how God's love has transformed my outlook toward myself, relationships, vocation, hopes, and dreams. As a pastor I am often asked what the focus of the church is. I point to Matthew 22:37-40. When Jesus is approached by a teacher of the Law and asked what is the most important commandment, he responds by saying "Love God, and Love your neighbor." For me, everything I do, I want to flow out of these principles.
Verse to live by, Philipians 1:6 - "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
